I got out of the bus
After an overnight ride
It was raining like hell
And there was nowhere to hide
So I took a city bike
To the opposite bank
And hoped for the best
Hoped I wouldn’t crash
The traffic was heavy
I was soaking wet
Wanted to turn at the crossing
But slipped on the road instead
At first I couldn’t breath
But it didn’t hurt
I got back on my feet
And started to walk down
In the city where I live
Where I hardly know anyone
Where the streets are wide
The girls are pretty
My flat is close to the sky
Where I think of you
But you’re not here
And I can’t call you all the time
In the city that I now call home
Thanks for having me at your place
It was a really nice weekend
We catched up like we hadn’t for years
And I finally met your girlfriend
supported by 4 fans who also own “11 Rue de Médicis”
I am sure I would never have found your music weren't it for the article about your latest album in Respekt magazine. And what a loss it would have been. Thank you, it fills me with amazement to hear such wonderful Czech music. martipa2
